Whether it’s the fast-food or quick-serve food franchises or senior care, there are plenty of stories of leaders who have worked smarter during the tough economic times and are now seeing their businesses pay off.
The Oregonian newspaper recently featured franchises that were withstanding the economic downturn better than sit-down restaurants. The article also pointed out the damper that the credit issues has put on opening new franchises. However, the White House recently announced plans to increase Small Business Administration loans to businesses.
In healthcare, Health News Digest.com recently profiled Senior Helpers, a franchise that is seeing double-digit growth during the midst of the recession.
